Oma and Opa save the Day

Today started a little rough with waking up again at 5:30 and just not wanting to start the day! But then I got to go grocery shopping for the mom while the kids played in the house with a friend of theres. After that I made lunch and we ate together... then comes the fun part. We rode the bus 40 minutes to the north end of Leiden where their grandparents live and spent the day with them. This made my job easy because Oma was in charge. We just played at their house for a while and then headed to the animal park and to buy new sandals.

Now the funnies part of my day! A man hit on me at the kids animal park where i was watching the kids. He had two kids of his own and still hit on me. This is an excerpt from our conversation

Him, "hey you speak english?"

me, "yeah,"

"where are you from?"

i'm from Canada, Your from here?

I'm from Morroco... but I live here now.

Then our conversation got a lot more intense really fast... He asked me if I come here often... I said no, its my first time, just at the grandparetns for the day. Then he told me he works at night but takes the kids to the park everyday around 3...

I'll be here tomorrow... He said to me. At 3;)

And i was like oh... well maybe we'll see you again... so weird!

Then 10 mintues later on in our conversation he came back after pushing his boy on the swing and told me I looked really nice! In a super creepy way with a weird look on his face. He then told me he hopes to see me again and proceeded to tell me more about his schedule, and when he works, and when he is at the park! sooo wierd! so anyways i thought i'd show you all a photo of my lovely new boyfriend from morroco who must be at least 30!

I took this photo of him stealthily... LIke i was pretending to take a picture of David and Sara's cousin aimee in the background. Haha. So yeah not the greatest guy to hit on me. If only he would have been younger and just wanted to be my friend!
