all in all a great success

So cookies today. Where to start. I wanted to make yummy delicious sugar cookies...but low and behold they no ingreadiants... and also they didn't want to wait for the two hours they take to chill in the fridge and i was no about to explain to them they could not roll them out and cut them up now! so we made these weird cookies that Carolina had a recipe for... with literally only 5 ingreadients.

Butter, Sugar, Flour, egg yolk, and a pinch of salt!

they turned out decently well... i would say thats because i am the sister of a pro chef! and her skills must be rubbing off.

After cookies it was time for me to relax. "mom" took the kids grocery shopping with her so I took a nap while Carlijn (the baby) i was looking after just slept!

For dinner i made yummy chicken fajitas and it was so funny because they had no idea what to do with the stuff i put on the table. They watched how i put it together and then watching them role theirs up was hilarious. I wish i could show you all a video. They obviously dont eat that sort of thing often... or EVER. But they said it was good so i was happy.

Tonight I am home with the kids while the parents are going out for the first time since the baby. Carolina is very happy to put make up on, do her hair and get out! they took the baby though so all i have to do is be here and make sure the chillins stay in bed! I think I'm gonna make serious progress on my birthday gift for molly... and watch a movie too? maybe. we will see.

I am also talking to my new found hungarian friend at 9! and we are planning our day tomorrow! Can't wait to see amsterdam... although i've been there before i had like 12 Euros or soemthing left last time i was there so it will be nice to actually be able to buy something pretty if i see it!
